Skirts and caps

Today my littlest step-sister graduated high school! It's so crazy that she is 18 years old, graduated, has her CNA certification and is getting married next year. I'm really proud of her.
Graduation ceremonies are pretty dang boring though, I remember sitting through mine but I don't remember a single speech. I think someone quoted Dr. Seuss? I think it's great to celebrate academic achievement, and to have the class valedictorian speak. It's just a lot to sit through. Especially when the building is sweltering hot.
Not to mention Mekaila's last name starts with a T so we had to sit through a whole list of A-S's that we don't even know. But hey, they're someone's kid! So, 'grats class of 2014!

I loved this outfit a lot. I had been looking everywhere for a tulle skirt that was calf length, with absolutely no luck. Because I refused to spend $40 + on it. I was searching online and found this adorable one on Ebay for only $10! I love it so much I want to buy another.

Jogger Pants & Red Heels

Haven't had much to blog about lately. There's some personal stuff going on in my life that I am going to keep within my family. Other than that nothing is too thrilling.
I was pretty iffy about jogger pants at first. Some girls can rock them and look amazing, so I wasn't sure if my short legs could do them justice. After some tweaking I figured out that they are super cute dressed down with some fun heels. {Now my only concern is getting rid of my beer gut - ha!} I love these heels too, but whoever made them obviously didn't think the stitching through because ouch.

Stress Reliever

Shoes/Jeans/Scarf: Charlotte Russe | Top: Wet Seal
Since my life has been getting frustrating lately, I wanted to hear what you all do in times of stress? What is your go-to mood enhancer? How much better do you feel after?
Here are a few of mine.
  • Sleeping.
I know it's not the healthiest, but if I could just nap away a problem for the time being it usually helps me deal with it better afterwards.
  • Crafting.
It takes my mind of my problem and helps me relax. I'll scrapbook, make cards or create something new.
  • Coffee.
All kinds. Hot or cold. It just makes me feel alright.
  • Circa Survive.
Their music is my favorite thing for any mood any time of the day, but something about cranking it up when I'm feeling down or stressed just helps make things not suck so much.
  • Kissing.
Don't act surprised, have you seen my fiance? Yeah, any chance to get some loving from him makes me feel much better.
  • Shopping.
    No need to explain there.
  • Creating outfits.
Whether it's just goofing around online, or when I'm at work. I love putting stuff together to create a cute look. Re-doing mannequins to wear whatever I want makes my day. It's another way I can just be creative and relax.
I have a tendency to stress out easily, but luckily I've found some things to calm my nerves.
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Have a wonderful day :)
